Living life in fast forward

I have this really cute little 5 year old. She has this innocent little face, big blue green eyes (with very long black eyelashes) and the sweetest little smile. She can be the most loving, kind, obedient child....when she wants to be.

But...

From the minutes she wakes up in the morning to pretty much passing out in sleep at night she is moving in fast forward.

When she is asked to do something, like "can you run and grab mommy Abby's sippy cup"

She says "yes" and RUNS as fast as her little legs will carry her.

Going to play at her friends house across the street, she RUNS there too.

When she wakes up in the morning, one of the first things she says is:

"Mom, what day is it today?"

Which I respond what day of the week it is and she says:

"what are we doing today? Are we going anywhere today? Do we have to go to the store, I hate the store mom. Who can I call to play? Can you get me some breakfast?"

You think the questions end there? Heck no!

"so I have gynastics today right? So I can't play with any friends because its gynastics day. How many more hours until gynastics?" (yes I am intentionally spelling it wrong because that is how she says it)

"ok mom, so I will watch a movie, and then color and picture and then it will be gynastics right? When will it be? What time will it be? Mom is it almost time yet?"

By the time I get her calmed down, she has moved on to another topic which right now is: "Mom, when is Meghan and Danny, and Jake and Ashlynn and Aunt Boo Boo coming?"

"I want them to come now. How long is a month? Are they going to drive?"

"They are coming in too long. Why can't they come now?"

Yes, living with this little ball of energy is very tiring to this mommy. It is a non stop, constant, always going adventure with her. Would I trade any of it...HECK NO!

But my most favorite question of all....(NOT!)

"Mom, when is it going to be tomorrow?"

She wants everything to move so fast, when I wish there was a REWIND button because life is moving just too fast for me!

Love you Emi-Boo!
