So, I have been subbing in Primary the past 2 weeks since I still don't have a calling. It has been fun being with 9 year olds that really do know their stuff. Our lesson was from the Book of Mormon, 3 Nephi 17 where Jesus is praying for the Nephites and then asks them to bring their children and he blesses each one.
The cute kids in the class were just soaking in the lesson. Then I asked them how they knew that Jesus loved them. When they said things like "he has done so much for us" I said, "no, not how you know Jesus loves all of us, how you know he loves you"
They sat there for a minute but it wasn't long before they started answering and the look in their eyes just filled my heart. They (hopefully) learned yesterday the Jesus loved them, as an individual, because of all the blessings they enjoy in their very own lives. I love knowing for myself that He knows me and loves me.
Primary is the best. And Primary kids are the best too! I learn so much from them!
