I thought I would give myself a little advertising. 4 years ago, I started a little business called "Pocket Full of Faith" I started a website that sold handmade gifts and my handmade crafts were scripture totes.
I had friends who sold some of their items on my web site as well.
See, I didn't like the scripture totes that were being sold for kids (girls) mostly. They were boring and ugly.
So, I made my own.
I think I might try selling some of my crafts on Etsy. I also make hair bows, flower clips, I am going to have a go at just about anything I can think of since I have tons of fabric, an great sewing maching (THANKS MOM) and oh so much time on my hands...NOT.
I will post some pictures here of some bags I have made. These bags, among others, I shipped to my sisters because she and a friend were having a boutique.
I don't just do scripture totes either. I can pretty much make any kind of bag you have in mind. Church bags are popular. I also make jammie pants.
The totes can have short handles or a long one like a purse. (very popular with the younger girls.) They have a pocket in front and back and a liner inside. Some come with emelishments, bows, flowers, jewels, feather boas, lace etc.
I will do any special orders, adult or child, boy or girl. They are mostly made from Denim and cute fabric and come with a FAITH charm. I have made some out of corderouy, colored denim, or any kind of fabric you would like.
Right after I started this little business of mine, I was called as Primary President.
Then I got pregnant and the sewing came to a screeching halt and I didn't do a thing with it until about a month ago and guess what happened?
I got called as Primary President again. Go figure?
So right now my web site is not up, nor am I on Etsy yet but shortly it will happen. But don't let that stop you. If you would like to buy one for you or someone else, let me know!
