A Real Snow Day

Okay, so I am getting ready to go to church on Sunday, the kids are all dressed and ready to go by 10am (amazing considering church is at 11) and Paul is gone to his Sunday early meetings. I havent been to church in 3 weeks and I was ready to get out. Paul calls from the church and said, "Church is cancelled." I totally laughed and said, "whatever!"

He said, "no really, church is cancelled. There have been 3 accidents in the church parking lot this morning as well as many families that are stuck and have to be pushed out of the snow.

So I looked outside and here is what I saw...

So, the kids got in their snow clothes and went out to help dig out our circle and we had a day off church. I have never heard of this in my life but there you have it. We to DUMPED on but apparently it was pretty localized. The rest of the Salt Lake valley got just a little snow, 2-3 inches while our little part of the valley got about 15-18 inches.

What a beautiful Sunday it was!!!
