I left there thinking, well its a little shorter than I wanted but it can't be THAT bad.
Well, I walked in the door and the girls go..."MOM, WHAT HAPPENED TO YOUR HAIR? IT'S SO SHORT!!!"
Now if that isn't enough to send me into a slight panic, I don't know what is. Heck, not 6 months ago I cut off a foot of hair and really didn't bat an eye.
So I proceed to my hairdryer and not 2 minutes later, my hair was done. And I felt BALD!! Having a husband who LOVES long hair, I was in a panic. I decided to pretend nothing was up when he got home. He looked at me, didn't say a word, gave me a kiss and said, "whats for dinner?"
I think that was the polite way of saying, "what the heck happened to your hair."
He wanted to go on a date the following night, Friday, to which I said, "but I look like a boy" Hehehehe. Yes, I was a bit shocked but in the end, after going to church and having people say they loved my hair, that I look YOUNGER, yes, YOUNGER!!!! Yipee!
And my friend who cut it coming up to me during church and apologizing for getting scissor happy and that she had worried about it for 3 days. Well, here is the result and maybe I'm ok with looking YOUNGER, and MORE HIP. (That statement coming from several of my Young Women) Maybe this is not such a bad thing. Now all I need to do is lose about 40 pounds. Any suggestions? He he he
